Write, Work, Live: Balancing a Day Job, Writing, and Trying to Do What You Love

Too often creatives are told to do what they love. They're told that if you are truly passionate about your craft, you'll devote all of your time to reaching your end goal. Life doesn’t care about that. Life requires money, health insurance, rent, and more. In this session, we will try to strike a balance between what you have to do and what you want to do. We’ll work to assuage the guilt that comes from feeling as if you aren’t doing enough, getting far enough, or actively living the “writer’s” life.
