Description

How do you move a creative work from idea to completed draft? Novelist Benjamin Percy says, “I need a visualization because I can't keep it all in my head.” Enter creative mapping, a tool used across creative disciplines to help develop and connect ideas into a greater whole. This workshop, geared toward writers of all levels, will explore the art of creative mapping. We will look at how well-known writers have used creative mapping to develop their own work and consider how this tool might help us along our own writing journeys, from germination to research to organization.
