Description

Based on the well-received lightning round of the same name, "Beyond the Binary" is for writers looking to accurately and respectfully write transgender and gender non-conforming characters. This session involves being familiar with relevant terminology, advice on how to avoid the "transgender narrative," exploring the history of transgender and GNC authors, and reading observations of craft with a transgender lens.
